Fone Bank

star rating

( based on 5 user review(s) )(Add A Review)

This is quite possibly the easiest, quickest and most lucrative way of getting rid of your old mobile phone. Fone Bank is in the business of buying second hand phones, which it refurbishes and sends to developing countries, where they will provide affordable communications to underprivileged people who would otherwise never be able to buy a mobile phone.

By making use of Fone Bank's services, you'll help to save the environment and be paid for it. Use Fone Banks website to place an order online today - it will only take a few clicks to do it. It doesn't matter if your phone is defunct or damaged, as any phones that cannot be repaired will be used for spare parts, or recycled in a safe manner.

Fone Bank will send you an addressed, postage paid envelope in which to mail your old mobile, and you'll be paid as soon as it's received, generally within two days. Don't throw your old phone in the garbage and pollute the environment, or let it languish in a drawer, when you can send it in and make money out of the deal. With more than 80 million mobile phones in the UK, disposing of the old ones safely is important.

I sold my old Nokia 6680 to fonebank as they gave the best price for the phone. I went and handed the phone in at their offices in Holborn (as it's down the road from where I work) and I received my cheque the next day. I've also just sold nokia e65 to them too. Great Service!

Why Should You Recycle Your Phone?

Old mobile phones should be recycled

Recycling your old phone means you can gain return on it. Materials that are potentially hazardous to the environment are not left to decompose and pollute, but instead can be broken up and find new life. Saving energy, chemicals and waste by lessening extraction and refinement for new products, and 100% of materials in old phones can be used in new goods. This helps to keep costs down to the manufacturer and the consumer, creating a cycle of best practice.
